Upon reading the sneak peek of The Girl in the Tower I enjoyed reading to see where it would initially leaded me. But I don’t see the connection between what the blurb says and what the story is actually telling me. Most definitely a bit misleading on that sense however the front cover drew me in wanting to read it.
Whether the first several chapters don’t relate much to the blurb or not I still found it easy to read them and how they created a big picture. The style of writing feels fairly modern even though the story is set back in the past of sorts. Reading the blurb of The Girl in the Tower has some mystery about it which is one of the reasons as to why I decided to pick it up in the first place.
