This is a sequel to The Bear and the Nightingale, which I loved! This book reads like a Russian fairy tale. The story begins in Moscow in the dead of winter. Olga welcomes her brother, who brings news of terrors taking place in the villages. This book promises to be as beautifully atmospheric as her previous one.
