I really loved the first book of the series, so I was really excited to check out the first look of the follow-up. To my delight, Arden's writing is as beautiful as I remembered. She also has a great talent for setting up an immersive setting and creating a backdrop for her amazing characters.
My first impressions are extremely positive, and having read these first two dozen pages or so, I have a feeling I won't be disappointed when the full book eventually releases. I can't wait to read it.
