So I read the plot of this book and was automatically pulled to this book I love myself a good mystery and I haven’t read the first book in the series but it’s good to know that you can read this book without reading the first one and not be confused I love books like that. I love how much twist it had and it made me not want to stop reading. The story revolves around Emily and she runs away after two men kill her sister and mother and after multiple bodies she gets arrested for murder and she tries to use her resources at the prison to help her get out and she finds a few friends along the way like her cell mate and her attorney who would do anything to keep her safe. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a mystery and I will definitely start reading the first book in this series as well it seems really interesting. I also loved all the twist up until the end of the book.
