I enjoyed reading this story. Right from the start we are introduced to familiar yet new settings and characters that have complex histories. My nose was glued to the page as the words kept flowing full of beautiful descriptions and details of the characters, their thoughts, emotions, and actions. I felt that I could connect to the characters even if our personalities and mindsets were slightly different from one another as this story made you really feel for them and have the opportunity to really understand them as people. Moreover, there was plenty of action and good pacing throughout to keep the story flowing smoothly. I would recommended this story to anyone who enjoys character studies and would like a few hours away from reality but also wants to keep in touch with reality. It has a dual purpose and one that others might find intriguing.
