I read and reviewed the first book. It was very good with the exception of making the main male character look stupid for the way he talked. He comes across as intelligent then they make him talk like some uneducated street thug.
This one continues with Emily's life after the brutal murder of her mother and sister. He ran away and did what she had to to survive. I really like Emily and felt so bad for her. Things happened and she did survive. Now she's going to be put on trial for that?
