I know more of the details will be filled in as the story progresses, but I felt some frustration at a lack of knowledge of too many things that had happened. Some of those items were Emily/Alice’s relationship with Lucas, the murder charge, the boyfriend, the two men who killed Emily’s mother and sister, and the person she was accused of killing. I felt I missed too much from a previous book.
