I didn't care for this one. I found that neither the characters nor the plot really grabbed my attention. Also I think in the description of the book it said that it could definitely be read as a stand alone despite being a sequel, and I have to say I'm not sure I agree. At least just from reading the first look I found a couple of things that I felt like I was missing a reference or back story.
