So I read book 1 of the Emily Calby series last year and I liked it enough even though it wasn't my favorite because of the way Emily's character was written and how she spoke. But I feel an older vibe from book 2 Emily/Alice and a growth in Dorian Box so I'd be down to give this a try. Also the concept of Emily handling herself behind bars is quite appealing.
