What a chaotic start! (Not necessarily in the bad way.)
The first thing I thought was that I didn't like to read thriller books with a first-person narrator. But, as far as I've read into this novel, it works.
The cover wouldn't have me buying the book, but I like the main character and the idea that, even while being the second book in a series, it can be read as a standalone.
