If this book doesn't hold back punches it could be a great ride. My idea of what it means to have a dark and gritty story seems to be a little more extreme than the average so I wonder how far the author will push the protagonist and the reader's concept of dark. Very interesting read overall and makes me want to pick up the first book for sure.
