Right from the first page, this book hooked me in. I hadn't read the first book in this series, but I was able to jump right in and know what was going on. The entire first look is filled with so much action and mystery, and I want to keep reading to figure out why Emily is linked to a murder and what happens in her courtroom proceedings.
