I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of the first book in this series. Yes, it is dark with Emily on the run from the killers of her mom and sister but I really liked it. Emily is older now in this book (16 instead of 12) and though she is more capable now, she still runs into problems and I can't wait to read it and see if she can get out of these latest issues.
