I only gave it 3 stars because I felt the book could of been more in chapter form than in the form it's in. I did understand that 2 families are involved but the book was just not that interesting. County Fair with families that are in a feud. But what I didn't get was what is the feud and how are these families not only intertwined but what is the point of the story. It was slow to begin with than just went downhill from there. The plot was not that great nor was the story line. Since it's not a chapter book I felt it was too long winded for the way the book is broken up into certain areas and I really could not get into the character mode at all. I do give books a chance but this did not even peak my interest from the beginning. The Burb was good. The book not so much.
