This is a story set around the Gillespie County Fair and rural Texas. It's a dramatic story about a small little tourist town, and having spent a bit of time in Texas myself I was able to picture the town and really imagine the feel which helped me enjoy the story. I felt that the book moved a little fast sometimes and would have liked it to go by a little slower but I still found it interesting. The characters were good and it was easy to get to know them, it was very well written. They develop really well and all the stories intertwine in to a great twist. I particularly liked the cover of this book and it would definitely draw my attention if it was sitting on the shelf. I'd like to read something else by this author.
