I have to first discuss the positives of this story and the first thing that comes to mind is how beautifully this book is written. The author does an amazing job at creating vivid characters that were dynamic and complex and just feel so so real! As well as a landscape that feels the same. I do have to say the reason I could not give it more than 3 stars is that not a lot happens, it is more of a day to day accounting of the characters, so I felt the storyline got a bit stagnant and took much longer than it should have for a book it’s size for me to finish. Yet it does have a redeeming plot twist at the end. This plot twist really brought everything together and blended each of the characters lives and really made the book for me.
