This book is over and honestly I have no idea what to read next ! The Gilded Wolves was such a fun, interesting and gripping read! This book takes place in Paris, 1889 in a magic inhibited world run by foragers. As I first got into this book, it took me a little bit to start to feel an attachment to the book since it started with mostly world building but once I did, I didn't want to put this book down! The characters made this book and how they interacted with magic filled Paris! I got a lot of Six of Crows vibes (which I loved) and the fact that it included a heist? Count me in!
Ok honestly I could literally write a whole Novel gushing over the characters. I mean who couldn't? They are all so amazing
-Séverin- Half-Algerian, clever, behind all the plans, mastermind, tragic backstory & one of my favorite characters in this book *swoon*
-Enrique- Filipino/Spanish, cinnamon roll, historian, strange but adorable
-Tristan- Séverin's brother, always working in the gardens, adorable & such a cinnamon roll, always obsesses over his pet tarantula , Goliath.
-Zofia- Jewish, Polish, Mathematical genius, odd sense of humor, scientist
-Laila- Indian, the best baker, wonderful back story (about her culture & family)
-Hypnos- queer, hilarious, sweetest, great fashion sense (Reminds me of Magnus from TMI <3), Definitely one of my favorite characters evah ((I also ship him & Enrique SO HARD. I loveeeee themmm))

Overall, if your a fan of Six of Crows, Heists or magical world building then you need to pick up this book ASAP! Roshani Chokshi has built such a wonderful story. This book is definitely one of my favorite reads so far from 2019 ahhhh. Also in case you didn't know this book is part of a TRILOGY!!! im screamingggg
