I am a huge fan of the book Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. When I looked at this book, I immediately thought of that and it did not disappoint. Throughout this book I laughed and cried and dragged my friends along with me. While the books were similar, I did actually like that this book wasn’t EXACTLY the same as SoC. The character types crossed over, and they had a lot of emotions. I loved that Zofia tried so hard to fit in, and how angry she was when people pointed out she didn’t. One of my only complaints is that there wasn’t more of the Enrique/Hypnos dynamic. Laila and Séverin got more writing when they were transferring a bomb from one mouth to the other! Overall, this was an amazing book!
