Oh my gracious this was such a good book. The storyline is so interesting and new, but the thing that really puts it over the top are the characters. They are so fun and each have such depth to them. Their bond with each other and their fearless leader endears them to you from the start. It's so great that they aren't perfect either. They each have their own issues and insecurities, so different from each other, but that helps cement their bond.
The world of the Order of Babel is so different and intriguing. I found myself wondering what I would want my gift to be and to which house it would be most beneficial to be a part of.
This book has it all, action, adventure, forbidden romance, friendship and the ending left me completely saddened. Then I read the next book, and was even more shattered, and now I have to wait months more for the final book in the series. That's how you know that the book was amazing!
