So I’ll start by saying I did enjoy reading this novel. It kept my interest almost the entire time and the characters were quite likeable. That all being said I just didn’t quite connect to the plot. I’m not sure why, I just didn’t feel any urgency or a strong enough pull to make me drawn to the book. Part of it may have just been I’ll timing as I was distracted when I first starting reading it. I will most likely pick up the next book in the series but it won’t be at the top of my list. I would recommend it to some but not a general recommendation. I might try reading it again soon just to see if I would enjoy it more. This is a historical fantasy that follows a group of people no one knows, at least they don’t as of yet. But once they start their quest everyone will know who they are.
