Impatiently waiting for the next installment!
I went into this book with high expectations and was not disappointed! “Guilded Wolves” is a great heist story mixed with some very interesting supernatural (in the book called “forged”) elements. I always appreciate a story that can give me some new kinds of magic, and I was pleased with some of the unique elements this story presented.
The characters are enchanting in this story. The author has a wonderful way of getting you invested in one character, then switching gears so you feel for the next. Each character has their own unique place in the band of “acquirers,” and they are each very interesting for their own reasons. The chemistry between characters is done very well; readers should find it easy to be drawn into this intricate world.
This book is great for those who are a fan of Bardugo’s “Six of Crows.” It definitely scratches that itch of a great heist novel, with some very interesting side stories and developments thrown in. I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series, and it definitely comes recommended!
