This book is a story about a group of characters who want to steal something in 1889 Paris, France. I enjoyed it a lot, the story is interesting, the plot is great and it is great to read during the class so you don't need to pay attention to the things your Croatian teacher is talking for 5000th time in last 2 weeks of school in your junior year in high school. I connected to all of the characters and their stories. It was fun to learn about this setting, the characters, the items the steal along the way and people they incounter along the way to their finish line. I really wanted to jump in second one right away but I had a lot of other books to read before I could do that. I would recommend this book to everybody so they see what is was like to live in 19th century in big city in continental Europe and not anywhere in North America or United Kingdom, it is represented in great way even though this book is considered fantasy.
