I wanted to read this book so badly. The plot is unique and the world in interesting. But after several attempts and only getting a few chapters in, I was unable to finish the book. The characters run together. I can't remember who each one is because the writer does not build their personalities well enough in the beginning to differentiate. So when events occur or dialogue takes place, I become confused. If I were to sit down and write a character list, I'm still not sure I could keep the story straight or remember who did what, because they are all very much the same, I'm not sure if the writer ever actually described what each character looks like. And the backstories are minimal. I wish I could have finished it, but for now its just mockingly sitting on my shelf.
