The book is set in 1819 and I love how the author has expressed issues during that time through the characters. If you loved six of crows I would agree that you would love this book as well. However I do not think the character building was as strong in this book as six of crows. I would love to see more about the characters in another book that delves even deeper into their lives and traits and makes us sit on the edge of our seats hoping for the best for them.
I do love the De Vinci Code side to the book though, it was brilliantly thought out. It made the heists a lot more enjoyable, without it their would have lacked much complexity compared to six of crows.
My favorite character was Tristan, he was just so adorable. I would love to find out more about Zofia and would happens to her.
