This book reminded me a lot of Six of Crows which is initially what made me pick it up. It is told with multiple characters, all with different backgrounds and skills that contribute to the group. I love the dynamic of everyone’s personalities clashing but also complimenting each other. It made reading the book so fun and you felt like you were a part of a great group of friends. The action throughout the book made it exciting and a fast read. There is hunting and fighting and searching for lost answers. It has everything you would want in a high action fantasy novel. I am very excited to get my hands on the second book because I want to see and experience more with these characters and finish out this amazing story.
