Roshani Chokshi is fantastic, so I was ready to read this book the first time I heard her mention the title and concept nearly two years ago. This 30 page preview is dense. Chokshi does a lot of heavy lifting with character introductions, establishing the worldbuilding, and getting the plot rolling, but it reminds me of the no-holds-barred running start in Six of Crows. I can't wait to get my hands on this and to get to know this fantastic cast!
