From the prologue, I'm already hooked on this book! First of all, the cover is absolutely beautiful. I'm such a sucker for beautiful book covers - I feel it's the first impression in deciding on the book. The premise of this story is very interesting. From the first pages, I get the feel that this will be one of those epic kind of stories that I'll wish for a sequel (if there is one). At first I wasn't so impressed with the main heroine, Laila. She seemed kind of spoiled and self-centered, but a few more pages of reading her side of the story, I grew to like her. The names in this book are really great too. With just this brief read, I can feel that the antagonist and protagonist will end up in a very strong way. Wish I can read more into this book with the brief download though.
