From the beginning, I was hooked by ring's with strange abilities and Houses scrambling for power. This book mixes fantasy magic with ancient artifacts, and gives it a sense of realism. The characters have great personality and feeling to them. Overall, I really enjoy the book so far and can't wait for it to come out.
