I was so excited to get this book from Bookish, and I had very high hopes. The cover is awesome, the subject matter is important, and the book is an important one that needs to be read by all (especially as it concerns the travesties of the Nazi party and the horrors they inflicted upon millions of innocents). However, sometimes books-in-translation don't flow super smoothly for me. This one did flow well, but it wasn't 5 star/must read again material for me. I also decided to listen to it on audio, which made for a difficult experience...the narrator was difficult to understand, and her voice did not make for an enjoyable reading experience. But, overall, I'm glad I read this book, as it outlined the Nuremburg trials and included history that must not be forgotten. The author certainly did her research and included important statistics and facts.
