It's one of those books that I was instantly attracted to. Books about the second world war and events during that time always seem to interest me so when I saw it was about the Auschwitz Trials I knew I had to read it. It showed the aftermath of the second world war in a good perspective. I did feel the storyline involving her sister was unnecessary. One thing I like the most about this book is that there are no chapters. It allowed me to stop in the book and continue without feeling like I should get to a certain point. It was a very interesting book and I recommend it if you have a chance to read it. The trials cause Eva to look at her family history and the horrors of world war II. Overall I enjoyed the story.
