I felt that the writing was a little all over the place as far as pacing and keeping on track with each of the characters. It was never very clear when we switched a character's point of view.
While I really loved Eva and I wanted to hear more about her new job as a translator for the trials, I felt like the rest of the story was bogged down too much. I wasn't as invested as I had hoped to be, and by the time I was almost done with the sample reading, I found that I just wanted to be done reading it.
