The German House is a story that I'd like to read more of. The main character, Eva, is hoping to marry a wealthy businessman; for now, she works as a translator. She gets assigned to a case regarding Nazi war criminals.
I like the setting. There are a lot of stories set in Germany in World War II, but not as many set in the years after the war, when people are rebuilding their lives and still dealing with what happened in the past. I'd be interested in reading more for the setting alone.
