I generally do not read a lot of historical fiction, but the beginning of The German House was so intriguing! Eva is a relatable, smart young woman who hopes to get married soon, but when her job as a translator gets her involved in a war crimes trial, it seems that she will gain new perspective and make difficult choices. I am so curious to see the rest of this story unfold. I also like the cover a lot and find the yellow font color very eye-catching.
