I have always had an interest in the Genome project and the power of DNA, the cel, genes and chromosomes, and the complexities of the human body in general. This book really opened up so much more information. I enjoyed the details of all the different effects the genome actually plays in the variety of diseases we tend to acquire. Some parts were somewhat difficult to understand and would like a slightly more layman term version, but thats just me. I appreciate that it wasn’t too long of a read but was actually packed with an amazing amount of information from doctors and scientists, to stories of little children and families dealing with heartbreaking illnesses and tragedies. Could do with a lot less of that... but that’s me again lol. Overall it was an excellent read and I gleaned a wealth of knowledge that is fascinating to me and would therefore recommend this book to friends and family. Thank you so much for the awesome book.
