It's definitely interesting to me how they can use our DNA to diagnose and treat certain diseases like the one mentioned in the beginning of the excerpt. I had my DNA sequenced a few years ago in a genetics class in college and the time spent looking over the data was fascinating though knowing you could have a chance for certain diseases is also a bit scary. Definitely interested to read further.
