Dr. Ashley has an engaging tone, and is enthusiastic about making at least some of the science behind genetic-based medicine approachable to non-scientists. There are definitely legitimate ethics and privacy issues around how DNA sequencing can and should be used in medicine, but based on the preview, this book will do an admirable job exploring some of the benefits for humanity.
