Just based on the title, you know this book will be full of scientific and medical-related terms, references, stories, and knowledge. For those that aren't in this field, it might be hard to keep up with all the details. Although the author "translates", defines or explains the very long words, I can see how it would be hard to keep up for the regular non-health-field person. I'm more interested in the patient stories and less on the history, so I found the history sections a little dry and hard to read through. I'm sure this style of book would be great for those interested and the scientific nerds (in a good context!).
