Thrilling and inventive!
I have so many mixed feelings about this book, but overall I have to say that I had a truly enjoyable time reading this one! The premise was unique and kept me engaged throughout the entire story. I was impressed by Newitz's character development and how well she managed to make each one's personality shine.
The pacing was spot on for this one and I felt as though it was never really dragging or had too much exposition or anything of the kind. There were times when it almost seemed too fast, but I'd rather have a nice quick pace to keep my hooked than it to be on the slower side. I loved the themes and futuristic ideas that The Future of Another Timeline explored and I really look forward to checking out more books from Newitz now!
