The book starts off at a punk concert, which is exactly where I want everything to start, not just books everything in life should start with a punk concert. The author manages to perfectly encapsulates the feeling one gets being emersed in the music and the atmosphere of a live concert. I really felt like I was there right alongside the characters.
We get two different perspectives, one from a feminist time traveller trying to make the world just a bit less misogynistic, the other from a teenage girl living out her rebellious phase with her friends by her side. I am interested to see where the story will take the characters, I'm always looking for more books with a time travel element in them.
The book depicts graphic and gory scenes that might not be for everybody. It is definitely a good idea to check out trigger warnings before jumping into the book.
