Power only in the hands of the elite? Sounds familiar

First, I love that this scifi fiction has women protagonists. Honestly I'm hooked just from there. Scifi has historically been a male-dominated genre, and I definitely want to encourage diverse voices in this space. Second, the parallels are there; our protagonists must fight to make their voices heard. I'm definitely looking forward to reading this book.
