There are parts of this snippet that interest me a lot. The time-traveling bit seems very interesting and I like that it seems to be that the two factions of time travelers are women vs men. That makes me think there might be some good gender discussion in this book. Though what we saw of the men make them look like psycho extremists. I also thought I saw some hints at racial discussion pop up but I'm not sure how in-depth the story will really go with that since it wasn't big in the snippet. Overall though I found myself a little bored reading this. I didn't have a big desire to continue. The final line also just felt so silly and ill-fitting in light of what had just occurred.
