A feminist, genre-defying novel that asks 'What if?'!

Based on its synopsis and opening chapters, The Future of Another Timeline strikes me as an exciting mashup of books as diverse as Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and H. G. Wells' The Time Machine!

The time points referenced so far - 1880, 1992, 2022 - seem really interesting both in terms of how they might read against each other, and in terms of past and predicted gender politics. I can't wait to see how these timelines unfold, and wonder if any other eras, events, etc. will be spotlighted.

The book cover's eye-catching, and I am curious about the symbolism. I mean, the watch face, representing time, makes sense, but I want to know why it's been embedded at the heart of a flower!
