This book was exciting in the begining, but lost a bit of its *umph* after the first few chapters. I didn't enjoy most of the characters. Claire is angry, and quick to make bad decisions. I also found her annoying, and didn't think she was a main character I really wanted to root for. Claires grandmother had absolutly no redeeming qualities, and didn't really add to the story. I really wish I for to see more of Gavins character throughout the story, because he was really the only one I really enjoyed reading about. The book was fairly decent, a good idea with a *meh* execution.
