The Friday Cage was about a woman named Claire who returns to her childhood home in DC to help get her abusive grandmother into a care facility. She is a tough lady because she was raised in a tough and abusive environment. She trusts no one. After the sudden death of a friend and someone stalking her, she begins to try and figure out what's going on. The plot unfolds and Claire finds herself in an unexpected mess.

This book was interesting and quick. I found it hard to sympathize with Claire because she's like a thorn on a rose stem but I enjoyed the story and it moved pretty quick. Some parts were predictable but the story was good.
