When I first read a first impression of this book I knew that it would definitely be a book that I would like. However, as the story went on I didn't feel that pull as I normally do when reading a thriller. First of all, Claire Chastain is not a very likable character and felt I really couldn't relate to her. Throughout the book there would be flashbacks from the past and sometimes I found it difficult to discern between those and what was happening in the present. I felt like it kind of dragged a little in the middle of the book, but picked up towards the end. I do have to say that a lot of it was not very realistic and I think it might make a good movie and it was entertaining, but overall I found it kind of just kind of average.
