So I really enjoyed the first impression of this book from Bookishfirst. But as I continued to read I was really confused about what was going on. I found it hard to follow and some of the little story lines just didn’t make sense. I also found that there were some unanswered questions at the end of the story. Why was Claire’s relationship with her grandmother even important? What exactly was Gavin involved with anyway and why was it Claire’s problem? I wanted more about Peter too. We learned a little about how Claire ruined that relationship but I wanted to know some more background. I really liked Lincoln’s character though. I think Claire definitely opened up to him and he was very protective of her. I think their friendship was a good addition to the story.
