I received this book from Bookish First in exchange for an honest review. I was excited about this book. I think the idea was really great. The beginning of this book was also very intriguing. I felt like it was going to be a solid read, but it kind of fell flat a bit once I got to the middle. First of all, the characters are all pretty bad. Claire was annoying and made terrible decisions. There really wasn’t a redeemable quality about her so by the end of the book I realized that I really wasn’t invested in her or her story so I just didn’t care. Ultimately it was pretty good, but could have been executed a little better. I also think the cover is pretty good. I think it would make me pick it up off the shelf.
