This is the first book I have read by Andrew Diamond, and it was more than my expectations for the mystery I thought it would be. Very compelling writing, great characters, and overall plot set up and execution. Claire being stalked by an unknown person, who doesn't love the stalker aspect to a mystery! The whole story that unveils between Claire and her grandmother and how this relationship or should I say bad relationship effects other aspects of her life and adulthood give a great background to explaining Claire as the character she is. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is not a fan of her grandmother at all, who would be what a mean woman she has been! Claire leaving her boyfriend and job, those relationships personal and professional you can understand were on shaky ground due to her background with her grandmother, but gives the story the personality it needs to turn into a great mystery! Claire's life blows up, and in between all the toxicity she finds herself in a tangled web of a mystery with a game of cat and mouse.... how will it end for Claire?!?!
