Based on the synopsis, this is a stalker/thriller/crime novel, but the beginning was just so slow and boring. So far, we've met our main character, Claire, an attractive, successful businesswoman with an anger problem, Claire's boss, and Claire's grandmother. Did I mention that Claire is attractive, pretty, hot, beautiful, good-looking, skinny, wears heels, and is constantly getting attention from men? The author did not fail to mention that on nearly every other page.
