I’m not typical let a reader of thrillers, but I did give this one a chance and found the I enjoyed the writing. Although there was something about the writers voice that constantly reminded me that the female protagonist was written by a man. It wasn’t bad or sexist and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it did distract me from the story.
